BOMA

Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International was founded in 1907 as the National Association of Building Owners and Managers. Throughout BOMA International's 100-year history, its goal has always focused on actively and responsibly representing and promoting the interests of the commercial real estate industry through effective leadership and advocacy, through the collection, analysis and dissemination of information, and through professional development. BOMA International represents 92 local associations throughout the United States and 13 affiliates in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia and South Africa. BOMA's 16,500-plus members own or manage more than nine billion square feet of commercial properties in North America.

Energy Star

ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.

Results are already adding up. Americans, with the help of ENERGY STAR, saved enough energy in 2008 alone to avoid greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those from 29 million cars — all while saving $19 billion on their utility bills.

Because a strategic approach to energy management can produce twice the savings — for the bottom line and the environment — as typical approaches, EPA’s ENERGY STAR partnership offers a proven energy management strategy that helps in measuring current energy performance, setting goals, tracking savings, and rewarding improvements.

EPA provides an innovative energy performance rating system which businesses have already used for more than 96,000 buildings across the country. EPA also recognizes top performing buildings with the ENERGY STAR.

Energy Trust

Energy Trust of Oregon is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Oregonians benefit from saving energy and tapping renewable resources. Our services, cash incentives and solutions have helped customers of Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural and Cascade Natural Gas save more than $440 million in energy costs. Our work keeps energy costs as low as possible and builds a sustainable energy future for Oregon.

Master Builders Association

The Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties (MBA) was founded in 1909 by a group of Seattle builders who saw a need to unite to address the many concerns and issues affecting the housing industry. They shared technology and jointly solved construction problems. They actively worked with government to develop laws that protected the environment while still providing attractive, affordable communities and homes for the families of the Puget Sound region.

NAILD

The National Association of Independent Lighting Distributors (NAILD) was founded in 1977 by a small group of lighting distributors. Since then it has grown to well over 180 members. Membership in the association is made up of Specialty Lighting Distributors and Vendor/Manufacturers of lighting goods & supplies used in the operation of specialized lighting distributors. Some of the main objectives of NAILD are to increase the effectiveness and profitability of the specialized lighting distributor through educational programs; to make available to members information pertaining to the distribution of lighting products; to develop marketing plans and programs through an exchange of ideas & to improve membership awareness of supplier marketing programs; and promote the need for and the benefit of good lighting.

NALMCO is an organization of lighting management companies and lighting professionals dedicated to delivering services, information and industry relationships for the benefit of its members and their customers.
