Lead Technician/Trainer/QC Specialist:
Full-time position responsible for monitoring and increasing technician productivity and performance levels by providing expertise and guidance in the areas of customer service, lighting technology/job diagnosing/problem solving abilities, time management, and daily efficiency.
Random Lighting Inspections:
The Lead Technician and Management periodically visit customer locations to inspect the lighting, note situations deserving praise or opportunities for improvement, and provide technician feedback and mentoring.
Quarterly KPI Evaluations:
Technicians are given comprehensive performance evaluations based on pre-established goals and metrics. They are also given the opportunity to evaluate their managers.
Light Doctor only purchases product from reputable suppliers. All products must be UL Labeled and be warranted by the manufacturer. We also warrant all our work so the client does not need to worry about warranties. If a product fails during the warranty period, Light Doctor will replace it without charge. Receiving payment from the manufacturer, for defective product, is a Light Doctor responsibility, not the clients. Because we take care of the labor costs of any warranty item, we make sure that we install only quality product.

As such, we require all employees, including the office staff, to study and pass the test to become a Certified Apprentice Lighting Technician. By doing this, we insure that everyone in the company is familiar with our business and the work we do.
All our Lighting Consultants are either licensed electricians or have garnered advanced certifications. Our field staff is regularly schooled in lighting and is required to sit for examinations as soon as they are qualified. Because of this policy, we have one of the most qualified work forces in the industry.
