History:

Light Doctor has carved a successful niche in energy conservation through providing more efficient lighting service work and retrofits to its 25+ years’ worth of clients.  We continually design and implement creative solutions to lighting challenges.

 

Our company was founded in 1980 by Dan and Leanna Petitt as Pacific Coast Industrial Lighting; and has remained a lighting-focused licensed electrical contractor since the beginning.  We specialize in servicing/repairing local and national commercial, retail, and institutional accounts, as well as designing and performing energy efficient lighting improvement projects.

 

In 2004, the company was purchased and its name changed to Light Doctor.  Since the purchase, we have been able to expand our tradition of excellence, capabilities, and corporate infrastructure through moving to a brand-new, larger operations and warehousing facility and by attracting highly talented management and staff.

 

Drawing on 25+ years of expertise, Light Doctor continues to successfully perform large-scale retrofit jobs such as McChord Air Force Base, the Washington State Convention Center, several School Districts, College campuses, hospitals and prisons.  Light Doctor has a long-standing, established track record of successfully working with all of the regional electrical utilities and any rebate programs that are offered.

 

Successfully completing lighting and energy improvement projects of this caliber requires the highest standards in design, product selection, and installation of new or refurbished fixtures.

 

We employ only trained personnel, all of whom are supervised by licensed electricians.  High quality performance is a standard for the company and is assured because of the caliber of the people on the Light Doctor team.
